Depression And Anxiety:Buy Words For The Modern Age

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Stress now days has become a very common
experience, affecting people of all walks of life.

It was only a few years ago no one ever talked in
public about having stress as there was such a
negative connotation surrounding the word. Stress
was only used by the medical profession and
usually associated with some type of illness.

Gradually, stress moved out of the medical realm
into the public’s vocabulary; thus, today there
doesn’t seem to be the stigma associated with
the word stress, as in the past.

I believe this will also happen to words like
“depression” and “anxiety”, since the general
population is becoming more affected by these
conditions than previously noted.

For example, today you can turn on your TV or radio
and be presented with numerous commercials by drug
companies promising relief from these conditions with
their products.

Using The Computer

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

When you first start to do things on the computer
everything seems hard. It can be frustrating to try
something and it fails.

Don’t lose heart. Keep trying. Sure it may take you
four or five tries to get it right, but when you do it
correct, that is a great feeling.

Remember to write down how you did it, step by
step for reference next time. Store it in a safe place
that is easy to access. I’m great for saving things and
not being able to find them later.

After you start doing things on the computer, you will
see similarities among different programs. This will make
it easier for you to use new programs in a shorter time.

Keep trying, that is the key to learning anything on
the computer.

Flurry of Blog How To Do

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Lately I have been seeing lots of offers to help newbies
to set up a blog. Most of the offers are for using
Word Press on your own domain sites.

The videos show the steps for the process, which helps
alot if you aren’t the type to be able to follow
instructions easily like me.

Being able to watch while being told what to do is
great for learning. Hopefully I will be able to learn a few
things to improve my blog.

If you have any ideas for me, I would appreciate a line or
two on how to do it.

Yes, I know that I’m slow with instructions but I’ll
give it a try.
