Some Things That Cause Daily Stress
Tuesday, May 26th, 2009Stress is hard to define. It is usually considered to be
the build up of anxiety and pressures on a person.
Since people are affect by different situations both on
a physical and mental level, it is hard to know what
will causes Stress.
Additionally the same situation may cause a different
reaction to the person upon repeated exposure.
The problem of Stress is caused when a person can no
longer handle the pressure or anxiety. The solution
may seem simple, just avoid the build up of pressure.
This may not be possible in today’s fast pace lifestyle.
The work environment doesn’t always allow time for
someone to avoid what is causing the Stress. When
you are trying to meet a deadline, but also need to
eat, you don’t have time to stop for food. But some
time later when the headache strikes you are forced
to eat. With practice we learn how to block out
the body’s warning signals.
Many people try to bury all the Stress, hoping it will
go away on its own. The Stress will lurk in the back
of the mind ready to strike at a moments notice.
Some little thing will set off a responsive which is
totally out of context to the situation.
The boss blows up when asked a simple question or
you try to explain what the problem is.
The person may be preoccupied with problems outside
of work. Many people take their home or family
problems to work. It’s hard to be relaxed and not
stressed out when there is a sick child or love
one at home.
Then other people bring their work problems home,
causing a tense home life.
We all face Stress in our lives. How you handle the
Stress determines whether it is something you work
past or it leads to more problems.
The first step you need to take is to recognize when
you are under too much stress. By relieving or
eliminating your Daily Stress you help to stop the
build up of Stress and can be more in control of
your life.
