Internet Marketing Statistics

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

While doing some research today I found some
interesting fact about internet marketing. According
to the Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce,
there were 136.4 BILLION dollars of sales from the i
nternet during the year of 2007.

There are only 40% of the largest companies
represented in this figure. Does that mean that a lot
of small companies and individuals are making some
good money form their own internet business?

A quick look at some other statistics.

eBay has become a big business with people selling
every thing you can imagine. Most are individuals, not
companies.

Google made billion of dollars last year. That income
was in part from Adsense and AdWords. Grant some
companies are using Adsense and AdWords, but I
think there are other users. Many can be found on
the internet offering their programs for Adsense and
AdWords.

Sure maybe there are some false claims but there are
too many for all to be false. Thinking of making money
on the internet?

Statistics prove you may have a good change,
if done correctly.

ISS Conference on BLOG RADIO

Monday, April 7th, 2008

ISS members got a introduction to a
New WEB 2.0 tool, BLOG RADIO. One of our members,
Ken English, better known as Blog Talk Radio Guy,
broadcast live from the conference. Many of the
members were guest speakers during the three
day broadcast. Everyone had fun and learned lots.

Ken also took photos of the members at the
conference. They are now posted on
www.YouTube.com.Type ‘ISS Conference Orlando
2008′ in the seach box. They are labled Day 1, 2 and 3.
The SPECIAL guest speaker was TED NICHOLAS, a very
well know internet marketing genius.

By looking at the photos you will see how different this
group is. There are photos of various speakers talking
about there products, answering questions and just
mixing with everyone. In a few photos you will even
see a great genius,Ted Nicholas, as he interacts with
members of the group. Ted turned out to be not only
a genius but a real genuine, caring, down to earth
type person. Conversing with him was very easy and
enjoyable. The whole conference was a very good
experience for me.

March’08 ISS Conference

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Now you know where I spent my weekend, at the
ISS Conference in Orlando,Fl. For those who don’t
know what ISS program is, I’ll give a brief overview.
The program is the brain child of a great internet
marketer, Mark Hendricks of Hunteridge.com (notice
there is only one “r”) He is not like a lot of the
marketers that you find on the internet.

The main goal of the program is to HELP YOU, not
see what he can get from you. And most of the
people in the group adhere to this principle
of helping.

Many people attend “Pitch Fests” where speakers
talk about their product, and then you go to the
back of the room to buy it. The speakers says hello,
takes you money and you don’t see him until next
“Pitch Fest” And if you have question, good luck
trying to get them answered.

At ISS we talk about problems and ways to fix them.
Of course everyone will help, but YOU have to do the
work. There are usually 2 speakers who talk about
their product, some of the problems they encountered
getting the product, and how you can use it, but no
fever pitch. The speakers usually are there for the whole
conference so you can ask them questions or
even buy the product.

I’ll be telling more about the ISS and some of the
people in this program. If you have attended a
“Pitch Fest” leave a comment below and tell what
you thought of the presentations and the speakers.
Please don’t use specific name if you are knocking
someone. If there is a super one please
brag all you want.

You can ask questions since they are usually there for the
whole conference.
